– Handling lye safely (wearing protective gear, working in a well-ventilated area).
– Safe practices for melting and mixing ingredients.
– Proper storage of materials.

4. Techniques

– Measuring and mixing oils and lye.
– Measuring different soap bases
– Saponification process (chemical reaction between lye and oils).
– Pouring, molding, and cutting soap.
